A bespoke, fully integrated system built for the rental depot workflow

Atomic began with a deep discovery phase, embedding with Scania’s rental division to understand user needs and operational pain points.

The solution: a mobile and tablet app backed by a scalable, cloud-hosted admin portal. The app enables depot teams to perform structured inspections, log vehicle damage using the device’s camera, and capture digital signatures for a secure audit trail. A custom API allows for vehicle look-up and validation, while real-time data sync ensures updates flow seamlessly between teams.

The web portal empowers managers to create tailored checklists per vehicle type, manage users, and track rental activity from a single, secure interface. Delivered iteratively through agile collaboration with Scania’s IT team, the platform was rolled out with speed and precision.
