The people are really talented but also friendly and supportive. The company has a clear vision and was making great progress towards it during my tenure.

Onboarding was well-structured and everyone was extremely friendly. A good mix of interesting projects – work was busy at times but there was always great support.

Our recruitment process typically involves several stages, though these can vary depending on the specific role. It generally includes an initial discussion with our Head of People, followed by a first interview with the Hiring Manager. Candidates will then complete a take-home technical exercise, culminating in a final face-to-face interview.

While a CV is usually sufficient, some roles may require additional supporting information, such as a portfolio from designers.

While officially hybrid, Atomic operates with a strong remote-first approach. On a scale where 1 is fully office-based and 10 is fully remote, most of our team members would likely fall at an 8 or 9.

Our engineering teams are required to come into our Nottingham office at least once a month.

Although we do have some fully remote employees, we generally believe that a blend of remote and in-person collaboration fosters better innovation. Therefore, full-time remote work is not our primary model.

For certain roles that require more office presence, this will be clearly outlined in the individual job listing.

Absolutely, although in our experience, it’s rare for one person to have the skills and experience we seek across multiple vacancies.

We aim to respond to all applications within one week. If you haven't heard from us within that timeframe, we'll be disappointed in ourselves.
