Building adventures for JCB explorers
During the pandemic, JCB identified a need for households stuck at home to access interactive and engaging content. JCB wanted to highlight the core values of Entertainment, Real-World Experiences and Education, and incorporate their range of supporting merchandise for younger and older audiences.
Through a collaborative design process, in which we immersed ourselves in the JCB product ranges, we developed an e-Commerce site built around a strategy centred on 'Constructive Play at its core'.
Applying best practice e-commerce design principles, we designed a site that offered users both an immersive brand experience, as well as an easy-to-shop gateway to their products.
The site launched during the height of the COVID pandemic, and saw traffic volumes double within 6-months of its launch. Atomic has since been retained to provide ongoing SEO and Social Media marketing, to drive additional traffic to the site, and continue to drive incremental sales.
By immersing ourselves with the available assets, we identified and gathered strong imagery, demonstrating JCB’s products in real-life scenarios.
