Scrum Master

The role

As a Scrum Master you will be responsible for the coordination of our Scrum teams using Agile methodologies across web and mobile projects.

The requirements of the role:

  • Support the project managers/product owners in the end-to-end delivery of multiple work streams for web and mobile (app) projects
  • Be responsible for managing the scrum process within the Digital team (sprint planning, stand-ups, retros)
  • Ensure that goals, scope, and product domains are understood by everyone on the Scrum team
  • Ensure a timely resolution of any external blockers and barriers by focusing on the Scrum values of openness, respect and honesty
  • On-board team members, SMEs and project stakeholders with the Agile practices
  • Help the product owner's groom and prioritise the project backlog
  • Be able to manage a range of projects in parallel
  • Facilitate the team to become self-organising and cross-functional
  • Facilitate the team in resolving issues and make improvements to its use of Scrum/Kanban/Lea

Knowledge

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience working in a similar role/environment (Preferred)
  • Certified Scrum Master (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum and Kanban - The practical application of methodologies within an agency environment would be an advantage
  • Adept at using latest PM software - JIRA/Confluence
  • Understanding of web and mobile technologies
  • Understanding of API architecture (Preferred)
  • Understanding of good UI/UX design processes and principles
  • Understanding of software development processes and procedures (web & mobile)
  • Experience working in relevant industries as our clients (Preferred)
