Business Development Executive

We’re looking for an Business Development Executive

We are looking for an experienced and proactive business development executive with outstanding communication and negotiating skills to join our team. You will be responsible for proactive business leads generation (identifying & winning new business) and building successful, long-term relationships with clients. You will be the first point of contact for new business prospects and will own and manage every step of the sales process, from the pitch to the contract sign-off.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively sourcing new business leads across various sectors
  • Planning and managing the communication with the prospective clients
  • Preparing sales pitches, presentations and account review documents and presenting them in a professional and comprehensive manner
  • Managing every touchpoint in the sales process
  • Scheduling and leading client meetings, whether in-person or remote via phone/video
  • Identifying opportunities for product or service upsells/cross-sells and owning the upselling/cross-selling process from start to finish
  • Building successful, long-term relationships with the clients in line with internal Client Retention strategy
  • Liaising with other members of the team to prepare briefs, complete Business Discovery documents and reports

Skills & experience

  • Proven experience in sale-oriented role within a commercial environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and strategic planning skills
  • Ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner and translate them into measurable benefits for the prospective clients
  • Understanding of basic Digital Marketing principles (experience in Digital Marketing role beneficial)
  • Proven track record meeting targets
  • Sales management and contract negotiating experience

An ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Digital Marketing and will be able to develop ideas for targeting relevant prospects, identifying new sectors with substantial growth potential and will be able to listen and understand the needs of potential clients in order to be able to tailor and articulate the best marketing solution.
