Newbury Weekly News picked up the Newspaper Society’s Website of the Year for its www.newburytoday.co.uk – its news, sport and entertainment website for West Berkshire.
The newspaper held off stiff competition from some of the UK’s big regional newspaper publishers, beating the Manchester Evening News and Hull Daily Mail into second and third place.
Voted the UK’s top weekly newspaper website for 2007 and Newspaper Website of the Year at the 2008 Picture Editor’s Award, beating off The Sun and The Guardian, www.newburytoday.co.uk, was designed and developed by us from the beginning.
